My Last Month
Lack of posting, so let’s just do the quick recap of June/early July:
- Went to St. Louis to move some of my advisor’s lab equipment down from their old lab at Washington University. Also stopped by in Memphis for a night on the way back driving. Me + 2 other guys + a U-Haul + 12 hours of driving = uncomfortable times
- Went to Memphis again for a conference. Learned some science, got some ideas, ate some good BBQ, met lots of people.
- Returned to College Station, got sunburnt, ate pork from a pig another grad student shot and subsequently smoked, watched the town fireworks (spoiler alert: they sucked)
